The first World Bank support mission of the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP-2) –second phase is being organised by the UJVN Limited in Dehradun. The project is World Bank funded and is supported by the Indian government. The mission would be organised from July 15 to 17 and was inaugurated on Friday by the UJVNL managing director Sandeep Singhal. The work executive agencies of Uttarakhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Karnataka and Rajasthan are participating in the programme in which various aspects of dam safety and rehabilitation techniques would be discussed.
