The tour was the part of the initiative Know India Programme (KIP) of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to strengthen the connect between the Indian diaspora and their country.

The visiting youth were ecstatic getting the unique opportunity to engage with the trainees and officers of the prestigious military academy.  They appeared very interested while visiting iconic landmarks within the academy campus, including the IMA museum, the war memorial and Chetwode building.
