A one-day capacity building training programme for the sub-registrars dealing with the registration under the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) was held here on Wednesday. Inaugurating the programme, the district magistrate, Tehri, Mayur Dixit urged the sub-registrars to take the training seriously and then help smooth implementation of the UCC. Also, he directed the officers and staff to be fully prepared for the ensuing monsoon and to visit villages and interact with villagers to understand and solve their problems.
