Former CM Rawat tests positive for Covid

Former chief minister and Garhwal MP Tirath Singh Rawat has tested positive for Covid-19. He informed about this on social media. Rawat said that after experiencing high fever since Saturday evening, he got tested for Covid-19 on Sunday and the report was positive. He said that he had isolated himself since Saturday evening but also asked those who had come into contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested. It will be recalled that Rawat had attended the BJP state core committee and state election committee meetings held on Saturday to deliberate on the names of party candidates for the Assembly election.
