BJP to begin collection of suggestion boxes for poll manifesto

The Bharatiya Janata Party is moving closer to preparing its election manifesto for the Assembly elections.  The party will collect suggestion boxes in all districts from January 12 to 15. The suggestion boxes along with suggestions received from other mediums will be handed over to the party organisation in presence of the MP of the district concerned, MLA, party office bearers and others.

It will be recalled that vehicles mounted with LEDs and suggestion boxes have been moving around in the state to seek suggestions from the public for the BJP’s election manifesto. During handing over of the suggestion boxes to the party’s office bearers, the party will also attempt to seek suggestions of as many people as possible who are present at the site.

According to the programme prepared by the party organisation, MP Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah and Manveer Chauhan will be present on the occasion Uttarkashi district, cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat and Balbir Ghuniyal will be present in Chamoli, MP and former CM Tirath Singh Rawat along with Shailendra Bisht will be present in Rudraprayag and cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal and Jyoti Prasad Gairola will be present in Tehri district. Similarly, cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj and MP Naresh Bansal will be present in Dehradun district, cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi along with Kuldeep Kumar and OP Kulshreshth will be present in Dehradun Mahanagar, cabinet minister Yatishwaranand and Anil Goel will be present in Haridwar, cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat and Vipin Kainthura in Pauri, cabinet minister Bishan Singh Chufal and Kedar Joshi in Pithoragarh, MP Ajay Tamta and Pushkar Singh Kala in Bageshwar, cabinet minister Rekha Arya and Kailash Sharma in Almora and MP Ajay Tamta and Kiran Devi in Champawat. Further, cabinet minister Banshidhar Bhagat and Rajendra Bhandari will be present in Nainital and cabinet minister Arvind Pandey along with Suresh Bhatt will be present in Udham Singh Nagar as chief guests on the occasion.
