The Sunrise Academy celebrated its silver jubilee on Saturday and Sunday. The National Education Policy 2020 was the main focus of the event. During the conclusion of the event on Sunday, the activities to be undertaken as per provisions of the NEP 2020 including Yoga, bag-free day, tree plantation, water conservation, dance and music among others were exhibited.
MP and former Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ inaugurated the valedictory function in the presence of Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’. Nishank exhorted the students to render their services to the nation, adding that Indian origin personalities were working in top positions in most of the world renowned companies. The school’s managing director Pooja Pokhriyal, director RM Saxena, principal Neetu Tomar and others were also present on the occasion.
