The investiture ceremony of the student office bearers of the school council was organised in Kendriya Vidyalaya-II Roorkee on Friday. Radha Pandey as the girl representative and Omkar Dwivedi as the boy representative were nominated as the school captains for the session after facing various questions of an interview committee.
While Mohini and Ishant took oath as the school vice-captains Sakshi and Himesh Kumar became the school sports captains. Avni Tyagi and Krish from Shivaji House, Mohini and Arun Negi from Tagore House, Ilma Hussain and Devvrat Pandey from Ashok Sadan and Sejal Sagar and Ayush Rawat from Raman Sadan were given the responsibilities of house captains of the respective houses. The school principal Arvind Kumar said that when one gets a position responsibility and accountability come with it too.
