State experiences warmer weather with temperatures above normal

Dehradun and other parts of the State have started experiencing comparatively warmer weather with the maximum temperatures rising a few notches above normal in the provisional State capital and other parts of the State. The State meteorological centre has forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in districts of the State on Monday.

Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur in some parts during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 25 degrees Celsius and nine degrees Celsius respectively.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature in Dehradun was four degrees above normal at 25.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius. In Pantnagar, the maximum temperature was two degrees above normal at 25.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was two degrees below normal at degrees Celsius. The maximum and minimum temperatures were both a degree above normal in Mukteshwar at 14.2 degrees Celsius and 3.5 degrees Celsius respectively. In New Tehri, the maximum temperature was two degrees above normal at 17.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was a degree below normal at 4.1 degrees Celsius.
