The meeting of the State cabinet started with offering condolences on the death of Manglaur MLA Sarwat Karim Ansari. The cabinet in its meeting approved the plan to upgrade the power houses and other infrastructure under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded project. A project management unit (PMU) will be constituted for the purpose and 26 new posts of employees will be created. The cabinet also gave its nod for setting up of Rajaji Tiger Conservation Foundation on the lines of the Corbett Foundation.
