The Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh has refuted the rumors circulating about the closure of internet services until December 10 in the city. Singh said that there is a misleading message being spread on social media by some anarchist elements regarding the Global Investors Summit being organised in Dehradun.
The message falsely claims that internet services in Dehradun will be disrupted until December 10. This message is completely false, and no telecom services of any service provider are being disrupted during the Global Investors Summit. He further stressed that the police are taking strict action against those spreading this misleading information, adding that a case is being registered against such elements. Singh further emphasised that the general public should not pay attention to rumours or engage in spreading such misinformation.
