A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between University of Patanjali, Patanjali Research Foundation (PRF) and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division under the Union Ministry of Education for mutual cooperation and academic coordination. While Acharya Balkrishna signed it on behalf of the University of Patanjali the chairman of the implementation committee of IKS and National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC) executive committee, Anil Sahasrabuddhe signed for IKS.
Addressing the gathering, Acharya Balkrishna said that the MoU has made the University of Patanjali an IKS centre for organising research, training, workshops and conferences on various subjects under the IKS Division. Sahasrabuddhe in his address said that IKS Division would collaborate with the University of Patanjali in research based on scientific evidence to advance Indian knowledge systems within the discipline of history and Indian philosophy among others.
