Sisodia launches ‘Kejriwal in Uttarakhand too’ campaign

With the target of enrolling over one lakh members in Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) across Uttarakhand in the next 45 days, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia launched  ‘Kejriwal in Uttarakhand too’ campaign from Dehradun on Monday.

While addressing the media in a press conference, Sisodia said that over 10,000 people have joined the party in the State in the last six months and through this drive, the party is planning to reach at least 10 lakh homes and present Kejriwal model of governance before the public. He flagged off 70 vehicles from Dehradun to 70 assembly constituencies and stated that these vehicles with 350 party members will showcase the truth of the current State Government and the development plan of AAP which will strengthen their campaign “Kejriwal in Uttarakhand too” among the local residents of the State. He said that the Uttarakhand Government could provide several facilities to the public here like quality education in government schools, employment opportunities and better health facilities in rural and remote areas but it failed poorly. Sisodia pointed out that despite providing electricity to many other states, Uttarakhand Government provides electricity to the local residents at one of the most expensive prices in the country.

According to him, the countdown of Uttarakhand assembly elections has started and the AAP through this campaign will show the public what Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has done in the last six years and what the party plans to do in the State that the other governments failed to do over the years.
