In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the electioneering gaining momentum in the State for April 19 polling, the drivers of buses associated with Dehradun City Bus Union flaunted their support for BJP by having stickers ‘I am Modi’s family’  pasted on the buses. They first gathered at the BJP’s city office where the BJP leaders greeted them.

Addressing the bus workers, the BJP’s Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called the whole country with 140 crore population as his family. “In showing empathy with the PM embracing the whole country as his family, everyone should feel as members of the Modi family,” he said.

Lauding the welfare schemes being rolled out by the Centre and the State government, he said that these are proving instrumental in transforming the life of one and all, particularly the youth and economically unprivileged people. “The people are now collectively considering themselves and saying in one voice that they are Modi’s family,” he added.
