Fire broke out in two shanties in Motahaldu area under Kisanpur Sakulia gram panchayat where the families of two labourers who work in the Gaula river live. It is learnt that their belongings were reduced to ashes. The fire started at about 2 pm. The neighbours saw flame billowing out of the shanties and informed the gram pradhan. The gram pradhan informed the fire department. Before the fire department officials reached, one of the shanties was completely gutted. However, the other shanty was saved from being burnt down.
