The regional transport office (RTO) of Dehradun will not carry out works associated with the learning licenses (LL) for the next four days after over 10 staff members tested positive for Covid-19. The regional transport officer (administration) Dinesh Chandra Pathoi informed that RTO is currently short staffed and considering the work load and safety of other staff members and the public visiting the RTO premises, no work related to LL will be done till Thursday. He said that other work will be carried out as usual in these four days. “This decision has been taken after discussing with the senior officials of the transport department and further decision will be taken as per the situation on Thursday,” added Pathoi.
