The Panchayati Raj secretary Chandresh Kumar has said that the gazette notification of Reservation Rules 2025 for the Panchayat elections is under process for printing at the GovernmentPress in Roorkee. It will be issued soon and presented before the Uttarakhand High Court so that necessary judicial guidance can be received. Kumar said this following an interim stay ordered by the High Court on the Panchayat poll process due to the absence of the reservation rules. He stressed that the State government is committed to honouring the court and its directions while enabling the Panchayati Raj system as per the constitution and the rules.
