Regular & strict review to continue till completion of works announced by CM: Raturi

Additional chief secretary Radha Raturi said that execution of the announcements made by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will be reviewed regularly and strictly till cent per cent of the work is completed. The departments will have to take ownership and work in mission mode in order to ensure that these works are completed as early as possible. Any delay or negligence in these works will not be tolerated, she warned. Raturi said this while chairing a meeting on Monday to review the progress made in the execution of the announcements made by the chief minister. The works being undertaken by the School Education, Health and Medical Education, Rural Development and Higher Education departments were reviewed in the meeting.

School Education department officials informed that as per the CM’s announcement, smart class arrangements are being made in 600 additional schools. The education of children orphaned due to disaster in Dharchula Vidhan Sabha area is also being facilitated. The process is underway regarding the construction of the main building at the government inter colleges in Hargad and Silpata in Gairsain block of Karnprayag and Rains Chopta government inter college in Tharali. The department officials also informed about the progress in execution of other announcements made by the CM.

Health and Medical Education department officials informed that the work related to development of the non- invasive cardiac care centre in the hub and spoke model in Khatima, establishment of a blood bank in Khatima and building construction in the primary health centre at Badiyakot in Bageshwar, making the base hospital operational in Pithoragarh and construction of the building at the community health centre at Ganai in Gangolihat is under progress.
