Reacting to Congress leader Harish Rawat’s statement wherein he had said that after the Congress wins the Assembly elections, he could either be the chief minister or sit at home, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Rawat is daydreaming. Dhami said, “He is watching Mungerilal ke haseen sapne. It is the Bharatiya Janata Party which is going to be re-elected to form the government in Uttarakhand. We are going to be elected with a thumping majority,” said the chief minister.
The BJP state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that such is the condition in the Congress that even though the verdict of the voters is in EVMs, the race for the post of chief minister has begun in the party. The senior Congress leader Harish Rawat has given a warning to his party stating that he will sit at home if not made the chief minister. This clearly shows that though he talks of public concerns, Rawat is also fighting for the chair, said Chauhan.
