Kamal of Haldwani becomes flying officer in Indian Air Force

In latest Uttarakhand news, Kamal Karnatak, resident of Army Colony, Haripur Nayak, Haldwani has become the flying officer of the Indian Air Force after four years’ grueling training (three years at National Defence Academy Khadakwasla and one year at Air Force Academy Hyderabad). He was given the status of IAF flying officer following the combined graduation parade held at the Air Force Academy Dundigal in Hyderabad which was reviewed by the President Droupadi Murmu on June 17. Kamal’s parents and his two sisters were present during the passing out parade. Kamal’s father Promode Kumar Karnatak who had worked as subedar clerk retired in 2020 while his mother is a house wife. Kamal studied from class 9 to 12 from the Army School Ghorakhal and he was conferred with the Governor’s Trophy on being selected as the best cadet in 2019.
