Chairman and managing director of THDC India Limited, RK Vishnoi informed on Monday that in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Culture, THDCIL launched ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign with the planting of 75 saplings of indigenous species near Bhagirathi Bhawan at the corporate headquarters in Rishikesh as a part of the creation of the ‘Amrit Vatika’.
He further highlighted how this initiative aligns with THDCIL’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its determination to positively impact the society and environment. Along with Vishnoi, the director (finance) J Behera, director (personnel) Shallinder Singh and other senior THDCIL officers planted saplings on the occasion.
