In latest news from Uttarakhand, police and SDRF recovered a half-burnt body of Vinita, resident of Dhalwala, Rishikesh, who had been missing since December 4, from near the forest post along the Dehradun-Rishikesh Road. Following the recovery of the body, police summoned forensic team and the latter conducted investigation after which it was sent for post mortem. The CO Ashmita Mamgain who was at the site said that though it appeared to be a suicide case police would probe it from all angles.
