Nepal man held for stealing from school

Uttarkashi police arrested an accused in a theft case involving a government primary school at Purola. The accused was identified as Dilip Bahadur (28), resident of village Jajarkot in Surkhet district of Nepal, currently residing in Manarkiser, under Sharan police station limits in Himachal Pradesh.
As per the written complaint lodged by the acting headmaster of the school, Ajay Dumoga, at Purola police station, an unidentified person broke the lock of the school’s dining room and stole kitchen items. Based on the complaint, a case was registered against unknown persons at Purola police station.
He was arrested from Rama Vesti Road on June 9 and all the stolen goods were recovered.
Police investigation revealed that Bahadur is a repeat offender who had been jailed in two earlier theft cases registered at Purola police station.
