The Indian National Congress general secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Dehradun to address a virtual rally today. She was warmly welcomed by senior party members including leader of opposition Pritam Singh and Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal. Releasing the party’s manifesto, she promised upto 200 units of free electricity if Congress government comes into force in Uttarakhand. Besides this, the party promised to give forty thousand rupees annually to five lakh families and provide employment to four lakh youth in its manifesto. She targeted the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) government during the rally. She had also met senior Congress leaders and office bearers at Hotel Padmini Palace in Dehradun.
