SSP takes injured man to hospital

The Haridwar senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh transported an injured person to the hospital after spotting him lying injured on the road. On Saturday evening Singh was going on the Singhdwar flyover when he saw an injured man lying on the side of the highway and people standing around him.  The SSP immediately took the injured youth in his car and got him admitted in a hospital for treatment.

The police have already started a scheme to reward good Samaritans who help victims of road traffic accidents but still many hestitate to do the needful due to lack of awareness and other reasons.  The SSP was returning from an anti-drug abuse programme in the rural area when he spotted the injured youth and swiftly took him to the hospital in his own car.

The EMO of the hospital said that a young man has received stitches at many places on his body. It is being said that the injured persons has been identified as Manoj Kumar. He had come alone from Baghpat to Haridwar where suddenly at the start of the flyover, his bike slipped and he got hurt.
