With the last date for filing Income Tax returns for the financial year 2022-23 being July 31, a few days are left for filing IT returns. It is learnt from reliable sources that the Central Government is not contemplating to extend the deadline this year. It is further learnt that till date, over two crore returns have been filed. And it is being expected that the income tax return filing figures would be much higher this year than the figures of previous years.
