The State meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning regarding the possibility of thunderstorm accompanied by hail/lightning at isolated places in the state on Saturday. Apart from this, light to moderate rainfall / thunderstorm / snowfall is likely to occur at many places in the districts of Uttarakhand. Further, snowfall is likely to occur at places located at altitudes of 3,000 metres and above. The provisional state capital Dehradun is forecast to experience partly cloudy sky on Saturday. Further, it is likely to experience light rain/thunder cloud development in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 22 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperature recorded at various places in the state on Friday were 25.2 degrees Celsius and 8.4 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 26.2 degrees Celsius and 9.9 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 12.5 degrees Celsius and 2.3 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 13.8 degrees Celsius and 2.2 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
