Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met members of the Uttarakhand wheelchair cricket team at his residence here on Sunday. He congratulated the wheelchair cricket team members for winning the cricket championship organised recently in Odisha. He said that the success of the differently abled cricket team is not only a matter of pride for the State but will also inspire other differently abled persons. Stressing on the need for integrated efforts to link the differently abled players with the mainstream of sports, Dhami also appreciated the efforts of the Divyang cricket association. He also wished the association success for the planned organisation of wheelchair cricket tournament in the State. The chief minister also felicitated the players on the occasion.
MLA Suresh Gadiya, cricket association head Ganesh Shah, vice chairman Vijay Ramola, team captain Dhan Singh and other players were also present on the occasion.
