Congress flummoxed by truth coming out, making baseless allegations- BJP

The Congress is flummoxed after the deeds of its past governments and party leaders have come out in the public and is thus leveling baseless allegations. Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal said this while addressing the media here on Friday.

Bansal said that Congress’ self-appointed electoral face and former CM Harish Rawat is nervous after the promise of establishing a Muslim university which he made behind closed doors has now come out in the open. “He is miffed at the government order regarding leave for Namaz coming out from the government library. The intentions of the Congress which believes in minority appeasement are now known to the public due to which the Congress is struggling to find an answer,” said Bansal.

He further said that after its intentions were exposed, the Congress is filing cases against people and trying to pressurise them for expressing their views on social media. He said that the BJP strongly condemns such “undemocratic” actions of the Congress. “We assured that our party will always support those who bring the truth out in the open. They are asking us to read our 2017 poll manifesto but they themselves should read their latest poll manifesto carefully because if the promises they have made in it are possible, the Congress should first implement the same in the state it governs. Instead of pursuing their challenge to our State chief to debate, the Congress should seek the blessings of the public based on its own works,” said Bansal.

He accused the Congress of leveling baseless allegations at the BJP government. The Congress talks of price rise, corruption and unemployment like it talked of poverty eradication because the figures on these aspects in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Maharashtra are there for all to see, he added. BJP State vice president Jyoti Prasad Gairola, spokesman Suresh Joshi, state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan and others were also present on the occasion.
