An accident took place on Monday near the Jakholi village of Rudraprayag district when a car fell into a gorge about 500 metres down the road. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) reached the spot as soon as they got the information and recovered a dead body. The deceased reportedly belonged to the Pali Village of the district. The body of the deceased was retrieved from the gorge and was handed over to the district police.
