The police found a dead body under a flyover in Raiwala on Friday morning. The police said that some locals informed them that a man was lying unconscious under the flyover but when the police team arrived there, he was found dead. The man had some serious injuries on his forehead and face which might be the cause of his death, as per the police. The police said that they have found Aadhaar card and PAN card from the deceased’s body according to which, his name is Rajesh Kumar (42) who lived in Garhi cantonment area of Dehradun. The police have informed the family of the deceased.
The police said that it is being speculated that the man probably fell down the flyover hitting his head and face on the rocks there that caused his death but a forensic team was called at the scene to confirm the cause of his death. The teams carried out Panchayatnama and the body has been sent for post-mortem. The police said that they are investigating the matter and the cause of death can be determined only after getting these reports.
