The State Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj Maharaj expressed grief over the helicopter crash in which
six people were killed. Notably, the chopper which was carrying pilgrims had taken off from Dehradun and crashed near Nag Mandir near Ganganai in Uttarkashi district. He further said that on receiving the information of the crash, rescue and relief teams had been rushed to the site. “
The administration has been instructed to provide all possible help to the injured and investigate the accident,” the minister added.
