Expressing happiness at the decision of the Union government to bestow the Bharat Ratna on former deputy Prime Minister and BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that Advani is the doyen of Indian politics. He said that Advani is a strong symbol of purity and commitment in politics.
Dhami expressed gratitude to the Union government and said that it is a matter of great happiness that Bharat Ratna would be conferred on Advani who is the source of inspiration for all of us and who played a key role in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
He said that with his visionary leadership Advani contributed to the development of India as its deputy PM, home minister and information and broadcasting minister of the country.
