Kalu Siddh Mandir rebuilt in grand manner: CM

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the road widening scheme, the historic Kalu Siddh Mandir has been relocated and reconstructed at a new site in a grand manner. He made this statement while he participated in the three-day Pran Pratishtha programme held at the Kalu Siddh, which is a significant centre of faith in Haldwani, on Saturday.

During the event, Dhami performed Puja-Archana and offered a canopy in the temple, wishing for the happiness and prosperity of the State’s residents. As part of the Prana Pratishtha ceremony, the CM participated in the worship ritual for about 20 minutes. In the temple grounds, in the presence of Temple Committee Chairman and Peethadheesh Mahant Kalu Giri Maharaj and Mahant Triveni Giri Maharaj, the saints welcomed the CM with a Rudraksha garland. The worship ritual was conducted by 16 Acharyas under the leadership of Acharya  Bhuvan Chandra Tripathi.

Additionally, Dhami inspected the newly constructed grand temple complex. In his address, he said that the historic Kalu Siddh temple has been relocated and beautifully reconstructed as part of the road widening scheme. He emphasised that the temple serves as a crucial center of faith for the local community and praised the contributions of the temple committee in its splendid construction. The CM also highlighted that it is the government’s priority to advance development works while preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of the state.

Many officials concerned were also present during the occasion.
