The Nainital district magistrate, Vandana Singh met officials and temple committee members regarding the Kainchi Dham foundation day fair to be held on June 15 at the temple premises. While taking stock of the preparations for the upcoming fair which is likely to draw lakhs of devotees, she directed the officials concerned to ensure that no devotee faces inconvenience during the congregation, adding that the fair is an important event of the district.
She stressed on proper arrangements for drinking water, electricity, toilets and sanitation besides parking facilities for the vehicles of the devotees.
She instructed the PWD officers to complete the construction of the canal covering at Nainiband-Sanatorium bypass and Bhimtal bypass soon and to barricade the pathway constructed near the temple along with all the parking places on time as well as to install signage at important places.
