Five people including a young boy lost their lives in a car accident in Tyuni of Dehradun district on Thursday. The police were informed that a car accident was reported on Banpur Road in Tyuni on Thursday morning. The car along with the five passengers fell in a roadside gorge and all the passengers were found dead on the arrival of the police. The police said that four out of the five deceased belonged to the same family which included a 13 year old young boy. All four were the residents of the Banpur village in Tyuni while the fifth person was a 23 years old man Amit, who belonged to Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. The police rescued the dead bodies from the gorge with the help of the local people and sent them for post-mortem. The police informed that the bodies were handed over to the relatives in the evening after the post-mortem.
