Suniel Shetty | He is as fit as he was in early 2000s. Shetty shares with Musba Hashmi his fitness regime, a lesson that he learnt during the lockdown and his association with O2 Cure

What is keeping you busy these days?

I am busy with FTC, a talent app of mine and trying to get people from all over the country to get job opportunities in the movie business. I have a few web series and films in the pipeline too. So just busy with getting back to work and the normal routine  and also at the same time valuing time that I get to spend with my family.

A lesson that you learnt during the lockdown?

We can’t take anything for granted. We need to value what we have and at the same time understand how much do we need — whether it is clothes or any other thing. I realised the value of real things in life as compared to the other things.

You are still as fit as one can be. Tell us about your fitness regime?

Fitness for me is all about the mind and to be involved in that process every day. Eating right, training right and regularly, being positive, laughing and proudly looking at everything in a positive way — glass half ful rather than half empty. I train six days a week on weights. I have a very balanced diet. Also I don’t miss yoga. Pranayams are important for me.

What is your biggest takeaway from the industry?

It is what life has given me in all these years. Thanks to the industry for all the name, fame, love, affection and a passport to anybody’s heart. All that will be worth it as long as I can use it to create a positive impact and be responsible.

You have recently associated with O2 Cure? What is it about?

My association with the brand is all about health, wellness and COVID. We are urging people to live a healthier life. The products from the brand with American technology will help us make the working environment a safer place and also help us get back to work.

Also, team O2 Cure’s motivation and commitment towards providing the society with a solution to fight the deadly virus, was inspiring. Their special expertise and focus on R&D has today enabled them to offer solutions such as these, designed to offer us the much needed sense of security as our lives move back to normalcy. I am hopeful that this collaboration will lead to changing people’s life for good and bringing a sense of safety around their environment.Suniel Shetty | He is as fit as he was in early 2000s.
