The newly constructed Hockey stadium will now be named after Tokyo Olympics hat-trick girl Vandana Kataria on the order issued by the government. Sports minister, Arvind Pandey will inaugurate the stadium and dedicate it to the players on Tuesday. A resident of Roshnabad village in Haridwar district, Vandana had created history by scoring hat-trick goals against South Africa in Tokyo Olympics and became the first woman to do so.
