An ex-servicemen (ESM) rally was organised by the Station Headquarters, Hempur on Saturday which was attended by about 400 ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and widows. The rally was organised to assist the veterans, Veer Naris and widows in redressal of their grievances by providing them opportunity to interact with the representatives of record offices of Bengal Engineers Group, Garhwal Rifles and Kumaon Regiment. Besides, free medical and dental check-up was also organised for those in need of medical care.
On behalf of the Major General R Prem Raj, GOC, Uttarakhand Sub- Area, the Station Commander, Hempur Military Station, Brigadier Devender Kumar conveyed his gratitude to all Veer Naris and veterans for their service to the nation.
