Chhattisgarh student dies in road accident at Selaqui

A 21-year-old student from Chhattisgarh, Sanjay Srivastava died after his bike crashed into a car in the Selaqui area at around 2 AM on Sunday while pillion rider 18-year-old student Priyanshu Jaiswal has sustained serious injuries. The police informed that Srivastava’s bike crashed into a car near Selaqui market at around 2 AM on Sunday. Both the students were seriously injured and were taken to a hospital through a private vehicle where Sanjay Srivastava died during the treatment and Jaiswal was referred to Synergy hospital where he is currently under treatment. The police informed that due to the tremendous impact of the collision, the bike caught fire due to which the bike and the car got completely burnt. The fire services were called to extinguish the fire and both vehicles have been taken to the Selaqui police station. The police said that they are investigating the matter and Panchayatnama and post-mortem will be done after the arrival of the deceased’s family members.
