The deputy leader of Congress legislature party in Vidhan Sabha, Karan Mahra has said that the HC order for CBI inquiry in the corruption case involving chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has vindicated his stand on the issue. Mahra has been the most vocal leader in the Congress party on the issue and had raised it in the state assembly and outside it. Mahra said that following the judgment the CM has no moral authority to continue in the office. He alleged that the Uttarakhand government is immersed neck deep in corruption and the people of the state have realised the real character of the BJP.
