Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme has been instrumental in bringing about positive change in the lives of people. Dhami said this while attending a special screening of the 100th edition of the PM’s Mann Ki Baat programme in Nainital on Sunday. He said that the 100th episode of the programme which started on October 3, 2014 has set a historic example.

Expressing his views, the CM said that in his Mann Ki Baat programme, the PM also talks about persons who are doing commendable work for the society and set inspirational examples for others to follow. PM Modi also talks about those who are selflessly and silently serving the society. The Mann Ki Baat programme has succeeded in connecting people to people, said Dhami. “This programme has connected the citizens of India and generated a new positive energy. Mann Ki Baat has made government schemes successful by connecting them with public participation. It has also contributed to fulfilling the dreams of struggling youths,” said the CM.

It is pertinent to mention here that on the instructions of the CM, special arrangements had been made in the State to enable the people to listen to the 100th edition of the PM’s Mann Ki Baat. A considerable number of students listened to the PM’s address in schools, colleges and other locations along with members of the general public.
