Hotels booked for Christmas and New Year
World famous tourist destination Auli is witnessing a spurt in the arrival of the tourists these days. The snow covered destination is a favorite among the travelers for the Christmas- New Year celebrations.
With the arrival of the tourists the smiles have returned on the faces of the hotel owners, guides and those associated with the tourism industry. The visitors can be seen enjoying the ride of the ropeway and chair lift. Ajay Bhatt, a hotelier said that the number of tourists have increased after recent snowfall. He said that almost all hotels are booked from December 22 to January 5.
The manager of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) guest house, Niraj Uniyal said that the guest house is booked till January 1. He said that the hotel owners and locals are looking forward to a successful season ahead.
