The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General MM Naravane said on the occasion of the RIMC’s centennial founder’s day that girls joining the institute from this year would be its centennial moment. In a message to the institute, he praised and acknowledged the stellar contribution of the RIMC and its alumni in the service of the country for the past 100 years. He also complimented the RIMC management for keeping the institution fully open and functional during the Covid-19 pandemic since 2020. He also advised cadets to prepare for leadership roles and challenges in future which will be shaped by rapid changes in technology with time. The COAS said he is confident about the preparations made by the institute to welcome and integrate girl cadets into the folds of this prestigious institution while adding that girls joining the college would be its centennial moment.
