More Uttarakhandi students return from Ukraine, MEA teams on way to borders to help Indias return

More than 20 students from Uttarakhand have been brought back by the government from war affected Ukraine. On Monday morning, seven students of Uttarakhand returned to Indiaand were received by the state government’s team headed by the additional resident commissioner Ajay Mishra. Those who returned on Monday include Tamanna Tyagi, Prerna Bisht, Shivani Joshi, Lipakshi, Attaulla Malik. Mohammd Mukarram and Urvashi  Jantwal. Meanwhile, to assist in the evacuation of Indian nationals from Ukraine, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is sending teams to the land borders with Ukraine in Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic and Romania. The team deputed to the border with Hungary is on its way to the Zahony border post opposite Uzhhorod in Zakarpattia Oblast of Ukraine with the contact persons being S Ramji (Mobile: +36305199944
