District administration to address grievances under CM’s QRT

The Dehradun district administration will conduct camps in six blocks at the Gram Panchayat level from the next week for the immediate redressal of public grievances. 

The administration is organising such camps under the Uttarakhand chief minister’s quick response team (QRT). The teams on these camps will make efforts to resolve most of the issues immediately and even those matters that require a certain time period to be addressed will be resolved within a given time frame. This was informed by the chief development officer (CDO), Nitika Khandelwal who will also monitor the progress of these camps in the blocks. According to Khandelwal, the first camp will be conducted on February 3 in Doiwala block from 11 AM and the administration has done preparation for the remaining five camps in five blocks till March 10.  Moreover, Khandelwal has also appointed the project director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Vikram Singh as a nodal officer of the district level QRT team. She has instructed the officials concerned to resolve all the issues of the public immediately and keep the record of every complaint they receive and resolve in the camps from local residents.
