The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the police and administration to make adequate security and other arrangements for the Phalguni Kanwad Yatra.
He said that strict security should be maintained at all the sensitive spots during the Yatra and all facilities should be provided to the followers of Lord Shiva during the Kanwad Yatra.
The Falguni Kanwad Yatra has commenced for the Maha Shivratri festival which is on March 1. The Kanwad Yatris are visiting the Har ki Paidi at Haridwar and are taking the holy water of Ganga in the Kanwads for performing the rituals at their Shiva temple located in their villages and areas.
