The driver of a dumper truck was injured after the vehicle fell into a gorge on the Dhumkot-Bhoom motor road. The accident occurred in the remote area of Pauri district early on Monday morning. The injured driver 40-year old Hariom, a resident of Almora district was admitted for treatment in the primary health centre at Dhumakot.
On receiving the information of this road accident, The Dhumakot police station in-charge Deepak Tiwari reached the site with police team and rescue equipment.The police rescue the injured person with the help of local people.According to the police, the vehicle fell down the road due to the weak retaining wall of the road which was constructed with mud.
