In latest news from Doon, police arrested the accused of reckless driving whose speeding car had injured school children and passers-by on Nigam Road in Selaqui on April 24. A girl identified as Selaqui resident Anuska Rawat (16) who had sustained injuries had succumbed on May 31. Police said that a case of culpable homicide had been slapped on the accused, Vikrant Kumar from Haridwar (34) and the court had issued a non-bailable warrant against him. Acting on the warrant, police held the accused.
