Keeping up with its reputation, schools of Dehradun have yet again excelled in the 14th Annual Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2020-21. Boarding schools of Dehradun and Mussoorie find place in top 10 india rankings.
Education World in association with the Delhi-based market research and opinion polls company C fore has released Part II of its 14th annual Education World India School Rankings survey. A sample respondents database of 11,368 SEC (socio-economic category) ‘A’ parents, educationists, principals, teachers and senior school students in 28 cities and education hubs across India were interviewed to rate the country’s top 500 schools on 14 parameters of education excellence.
In the Girls school category, Welham Girls School, Dehradun stands at number 2 position nationwide. Similarly Union World School Dehradun and Ecole Globale International Girls School Dehradun both jointly stood at number 3. Mussoorie International School at number 4 position whereas Hopetown Girls School, Dehradun is at number 5 position. Convent of Jesus and Mary Waverley Mussoorie and Vantage Hall Girls Residential School, Dehradun got 8 and 9 positions respectively
Similarly, in boys school category, The Doon School, Dehradun stood at 2 position nationwide. Similarly, Welham Boys School, Dehradun and St. George’s College, Mussoorie stood at number 3 and 4th positions respectively. Further, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun stood at number 9 position. In Co-ed school category, SelaQui International School, Dehradun and Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie got number 7 and 10 positions respectively. Woodstock school Mussoorie was number I nationwide in the international resident schools category.
