Covid tally mounts to 63197 in U’khand

Four deaths, 316 fresh cases of disease reported on Tuesday

The tally of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) affected patients in Uttarakhand increased to 63197 on Tuesday with the state health department reporting 316 fresh cases of the disease. On the day, 409 patients were discharged after they got cured from the disease. A total of 57951 patients have so far recovered from the disease and the recovery percent has mounted to 91.70. The health department also reported the death of four patients on Tuesday. One patient each was reported dead from Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital, Kailash hospital Dehradun, Himalayan hospital and district hospital Rudraprayag on Tuesday.

The health department reported 74 cases of the disease from Dehradun, 59 from Udham Singh Nagar, 43 from Pauri, 29 from Nainital, 19 each from Almora and Pithoragarh, 14 from Tehri, 13 from Chamoli, 12 from Uttarkashi, seven from Rudraprayag and three each from Bageshwar and Champawat. Out of the 409 patients discharged from different hospitals on Tuesday, 208 are from Dehradun, 38 from Pauri and 26 from Uttarkashi.

Uttarakhand now has 3705 active patients of the disease. Dehradun district with 605 active cases is at top of table while with 465 active cases Pauri district is on second position. Haridwar has 430, Nainital 419, Udham Singh Nagar 324, Rudraprayag 266, Tehri 278, Chamoli 213, Pithoragarh 202, Uttarkashi 199, Champawat 105 and Bageshwar 101 active cases of the disease. With 99 active cases of Covid-19, Almora is now at the bottom of the table.
